You will need to solder the wires to the speaker. Please refer to the photos we have taken of the actual item as it's received to us from ESU.
Programming information:
We are happy to load the ESU sound file for you. Below, select "$1 Programming Fee" and note what locomotive you will be installing in or search the extensive list of sound files at this link: ESU SOUND FILES. Loksound 5 sound file numbers start with a "S" followed by four numbers. (Example S0710 is a EMD 16-645E3 T) Programming fee is per decoder but the bulk discount we offer offsets the fees. If you have access to a Lokprogrammer, this allows you a discount on your Loksound decoder purchases from us.
Reminder - A Lokprogrammer is NOT required to use Loksound decoders - but it's a great tool to have as you equip your fleet with ESU decoders.
